The college’s OPT for Wellness Committee is hosting a “Meditation Station” in TOC 1120 on Thursday, Oct. 28 from noon to 1 p.m. Every 15 minutes (at noon, 12:15, 12:30 and 12:45 p.m.), they will provide a 10-minute guided meditation (from the Peloton app). New this fall, an online safety class is being offered to help students enhance their own safety on and off campus. The one-hour, video-based module is available in BuckeyeLearn and covers topics such as crime prevention, crime reporting, when and why the university issues safety notices, responding to people on the street who aggressively ask for money and more.
