With the spring semester well underway, The Snellen Letter is back! We hope your New Year and new semester are off to a fantastic start. The spring semester is one of reaching important milestones. Whether it’s completing your first full eye exam, taking the NBEO part I exam, attending your last didactic class, receiving your white coat or being hooded at the convocation ceremony – the spring semester has a great achievement in store for us all. Don’t forget to take time to relax, reflect, and find enjoyable moments within the ride! As we approach our move to the new clinic building in the fall of 2020, you will notice more changes in our physical space. To help keep you in the loop with all the latest construction news, Student Council has created a new bulletin board outside of 33 Fry. This bulletin board outlines (with pictures!) the timeline of events leading to the opening of the new clinic building, the demolition of Startling-Loving Hall and the Fry Bridge, and finally the opening of the new Interdisciplinary Health Sciences building. In addition, be sure to read the “Project 2020” e-mail that comes from Jim Woods as well as The Snellen Letter for updates.
