As the academic year comes to a close, it is time to prepare for 2018-2019 financial aid acceptance. During the first week of April, OPT III & IV students will be able to view their financial aid offers in Buckeye Link. An updated budget sheet for the year has been created, and to best prepare you to accept your loans, Justin Griest will have meetings over the lunch hour with the Class of 2020 and 2019 to give you updates on the process. Be on the lookout for a separate email from Justin in the coming days with more details on those meetings. Class of 2021 students will receive this information during Keystone Orientation, as their financial aid offers will show in Buckeye Link in early May.

The last date for students to make adjustments to existing loans is April 14. Additionally, due to processing time, students who need to submit applications for Grad PLUS loans should do so through studentloans.gov no later than April 10. Please contact Justin Griest with questions.

Carolyn Chakuroff is the 2018 recipient of the Outstanding Graduate/Professional Student Award. This award, given annually by the Ohio State Office of Student Life, recognizes students who have made outstanding contributions in leadership and service outside their academic program. Recipients have also demonstrated the ability to balance scholarship with their leadership and involvement. Congratulations Carolyn!
