My name is Madeline Smyth and I’m a first year studying neuroscience. I was born in a suburb of Chicago but when I was fifteen I moved to a suburb of Cleveland. In high school, I was involved in band, drama club, and Science Olympiad. While I still love music, I am not currently involved in any musical organizations on campus.
While I’m not sure exactly what I want to do, I know I want to pursue a career in healthcare in order to bring good medical care to those who are in need of it most. With a neuroscience degree I expect to build a solid foundation in medical sciences I will need for future education, along with becoming a more inquisitive and motivated individual.
