At the beginning of the school year, Ohio State gave freshman the unique opportunity to walk across the field of the historic Ohio Stadium. Being a new member to the Mount Scholars program, this was a perfect opportunity to have some fun with new friends. Myself and eight others in Mount took a trip down to the stadium and took some photos. The event brought so much joy to all of us and we were definitely smiling behind our masks! This was such a fun event especially since we won’t be able to watch a game in person this year. Walking across the field of Ohio Stadium brought me back to my passion for the entertainment industry and this showed me how sports can bring people happiness. There was nobody on that field that wasn’t having a blast whether they enjoyed football or not! I learned that sports brings joy into the world and it serves a bigger purpose than just competition! I would love to be involved with sports business down the road because exposing others to it allows them to have fun and brings out smiles to people’s faces!
