My name is Amaya Smith, I am a Christian, an athlete, a freshman at
OSU and a fun person. I love to travel, and shop and I love my family
and football. 
My goal for my academic career is to become and athletic trainer, my
future goals are to work as an athletic trainer and at some point,
work in Sports Management in some capacity.
I would like for this to be a foundation and building block as
continue to purse my academic career. It will help me build a resume
and use for interviews. I am in college because I choose to go to college. My Mom is a professor and my Aunts are teachers. So, the were my role models. I
will achieve earning my degree, which will hopefully be athletic training. I love to participate in my church activities, and I love sports.
Being the person, I can be and being a Christian. I also want to help
athletes like myself who experience setback and help them get back to
their playing level.
My family and my highschool teachers were great examples for me. As I stated before I want to work in the field of Athletic Training, I currently am employed at a gym which is always helpful for learning. I plan to be an impact by helping others and encouraging them back to health.
My community is my family, church and friends. This includes all
walks of life and it makes me a well-rounded person that I can show
love to everyone like God does. I come from a family of Christians we volunteer at food pantries, clothes drives, and participate in serving the youth
