Year in Review

This past year, I accomplished more than I thought I could. At the beginning of the first semester, I was worried about not being able to handle the course load of my classes and not being able to get involved. When it came to academics, the transition from high school classes to college classes was much easier than I expected. I was able to jump right in to the fast pace and rigorous material of many of my classes. I did struggle with one class each semester this year, but I was able to get help and put in the extra work to improve my success in the class. Getting involved on campus was also much easier than I expected. I joined the Irish dance team, and it was the best decision I ever made. The upperclassmen on the team were so welcoming and helped me with anything I needed to get adjusted to the university. Being a part of the team gave me the opportunity to meet new people, show leadership, and experience new things, all while doing what I love.
