Hello, my name is Hannah Smith and I am a first year buckeye at The Ohio State University! I am from Jackson, Ohio, a small town about an hour and a half south of campus. Having the influence of a strong agricultural community growing up, I have decided to major in Food Science and Technology at The College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Science. With this major, I plan to become more aware of the different aspects of food and how those aspects are affecting society. Throughout high school, I was involved in many different organizations and hope to do the same at my new home, Columbus, Ohio. Within my Mount Scholars program, I am excited about being able to continue serving others in various ways.
