About Me

An undergraduate  politics, society, and law scholar, I plan on joining student government and other organizations affiliated with law and its philosophy. My past experiences in high school, including Lincoln-Douglas debate, Model UN, and volunteer work, have prepared me thoroughly for critical thinking and fast processing. Through debate specifically, I  discovered many things about argumentation: the most important of them being that objectivity is key. A quality I uniquely possess is the ability to objectively deliberate, which is necessary for writing and analysis and has served me in various areas of life. Oftentimes, arguments are taken over by bias rather than logic, thus, I am a wonderful candidate for a logical approach to mainstream issues. I plan on using my skills to foster informed social and political discussion in my politics, society, and law program. In addition, I am determined to make the best of my freshman year of college by applying for internships or even seeking out a mentor. I am prepared, organized, and extremely driven, and therefore, I am ready for Ohio State.
