I’m thankful that my affinity for leveraging technology to solve problems was not only fostered here at Ohio State as a student, but is also core to my daily work.  My current chapter is being written here in the College of Education and Human Ecology, supporting teaching, research, and service of a dynamic leadership team, faculty, staff and students.

I serve as the Chief Information Officer for the College of Education and Human Ecology as of November, 2021.

I joined Ohio State in 2013 as Assistant Director in Technology Services for the Office of Student Life. Leading the service management, project management, application development, and quality assurance teams, I directed Student Life’s implementation efforts around fiscal and human resources Workday implementations as business transformation lead and change management coordinator.

From 2018-2021, I also directed Ohio State’s competitive and community esports programs, including the first esports and electronic gaming facility for students on campus. Student Life aspects of the program include live-streaming technologies, a high-performance gaming facility, and several student-led initiatives providing real-world experience in communications technology, team management, and event production.

Prior to joining Ohio State, I directed the technical, functional, and operational teams for human resources as Assistant Deputy Director in Human Resources and Service Strategy Lead for the State Office of Information Technology. These responsibilities include proposing biennial budget updates, service portfolio management and large-scale project management.

I’m  a Columbus native, holding BS Ed and Master of Arts degrees in Technology Education from Ohio State. As a graduate student, I taught classes in communication technology and trained Columbus City School teachers to adopt technology in the high-school classroom. I spent a lot of time during my early profession developed online marketing strategies and built e-commerce sites for Ohio State departments as well as the banking industry.
