In this picture, Ashley and I are at the Rutgers football game! Football is such a fun time with my friends. I have not missed one game this year! Watching Ohio State play and defeat most teams is such a great feeling. It’s an even better knowing that every single person in the shoe, well almost everyone, is rooting for our team and wanting us to succeed. Football games are important to me because they give me a way to connect with everyone at Ohio State, even those not interested in football, like me, can still enjoy the games because everyone in the stands is so energetic all the time. When we score, everyone freaks out and it is such a great feeling. Beating Rutgers is so easy too that it makes it so much more fun because you know you’re going to win! I love going to the games because they are a fun time with my friends and it’s a great way to remember how much I love my school.
In this picture, me and a bunch of other Mounties are at Buckeyethon. Here, we raised money to end pediatric cancer. It meant a lot to me because one of my favorite campers from 4-H camp just recently was diagnosed for a second time. It hit me really hard so doing Buckeyethon was a big deal for me. Hanging out with these people was so much fun! I never hang out with the few people that stayed the whole time with me, but for those 12 hours we were like best friends. It was so fun and such an amazing, rewarding experience. I had such a good time with my fellow Mounties. We danced, exercised, made tutus, played laser tag, and silent discoed the night away! It was such a good time and I can’t wait to raise the money again next year so that I can dance again!
In this picture, I am with Cassi and Meghan. This was taken after we rushed the field after the Penn State game. It was such an incredible moment and I felt so connected to everyone in that stadium. The whole game was so amazing. Being around my friends in such an intense moment was a great experience. We had so much time cheering and being sad and cheering again. Every time we scored we high-fived each other and when they scored we got sad together. When we scored that last touchdown I just felt so at home with the people around me and I loved that feeling. After we won we rushed the field and it was so cool to be on the field with my friends and to be able to celebrate a huge win with people who mean a lot to me. This was such an incredible time and I’m really glad I got to spend this moment with my friends.
This is picture is of me, Libby, and Ashley. We attended Fisher Convocation together. This was very important to me because I wanted to find good friends in the business program and also do business activities with them. Right before this picture was taken, we spoke to the dean of the Fisher College of Business. It was so amazing to just be able to talk to him and talk about our goals. This was such a great experience and I feel so much more involved in business than I did before. I’m glad I got to go to this event with these people because we had such a great experience together and without them I think things would’ve been different. Fisher Convocation was a great opportunity to network while meeting peers in business. This was such a great experience and I wish I could do it again!
