Dr. Slagle to present at ISU Summer Symposium on Science Communication

Dr. Kristina Slagle’s proposal for the 6th ISU Summer Symposium on Science Communication: Understanding the role of trust and credibility in science communication has been accepted!  She will travel to Iowa State University from June 7-9th to present her research titled, “From a bird’s eye view to a wolf’s eye view: Trust in wildlife management across a range of publics.” Dr. Slagle’s research assesses public trust in federal and state agencies ability to manage risks to wildlife, and correlates this to a variety of social identities (hunters, birdwatchers, environmentalist, conservationist, etc.) to determine if trust in either federal or state agencies was associated with identification with these groups. Congratulations Kristina!
