About Me

I am a student at the Ohio State University and I’m apart of  Green Engineering Scholars. I’m originally from a small town in northeast Ohio called Salem, Ohio. At Ohio State I’m currently a pre-engineering major studying to become a mechanical engineer. I aspire to one day become an engineer that aims to advance products that assist individuals that have either physical and/or mental disabilities. Many experiences in my high school career led me to desire this field of study. These experiences included my courses in physics where I first experienced design and build projects; attending WiE Rise at Ohio State during the summer of my junior year where I got to interact with like minded individuals and experience a week of design projects, develop a deeper understanding of the work and values of an engineer, and interesting activities such as flying planes; and the countless volunteer activities that I was given the privilege to be apart of that provided me with an understanding of the need for advancements that would benefit those with disabilities.

This is a photo for WiE Rise when I was able to fly a small plane.
