Millenium Goals Project

This project was designed to thoroughly investigate 1 of the millennium goals of the United Nations to gain a deep understanding of the initial problem, the various ways that the UN proposes we tackle each problem as a global population, and finally, how much progress we have made toward reaching our goal. This was a group project, which meant we got to meet with people in our Seminar course and discuss these topics. Then, we were to present our findings as a group to the remainder of the class. This not only allowed each class member to learn about all 8 goals, but it strengthened our presentation skills and group working abilities as well. In addition, we got to learn about and work with people in the IA program that we may not have otherwise known.

About Me

Hello, I am from a town called Mason, Ohio. If you are unfamiliar with this place, it is about 25 minutes northeast of Cincinnati and is where Kings Island is located. I come from a family of buckeyes (I am the 4th in my immediate family), which made my decision to come to Ohio State a no-brainer. Throughout high school, I participated in Water Polo and swimming. In fact, I am continuing my water polo career here at OSU. As a student, world affairs has always fascinated me which intrigued me into joining the IA scholars program. I believe it is important to understand what is happening in the world around you to gain a better perspective on life. This year I hope to further that understanding and work on my goal of earning a degree in Finance from The Ohio State University.
