ICE Scholars Final Project- Buzz Band

For our final project in ICE scholars we were assigned the task of coming up with a possible business idea inand group and creating a business model canvas for that idea. My group came up an item called Buzz Band which essentially a vibrating alarm clock in the form of a wristband. We sent out multiple surveys and talked to a lot of people to find our target market and what people wanted in our product. As a result, we concluded that our target market would be college kids who live in dorms because the vibrating alarm clock feature wouldn’t rudely awake their roommates. We also determined that the product would be paired with an app so that you could customize vibration patterns and alarm times. Finally, we concluded that the product should be cheap, around twenty dollars, so that it didn’t compete with the fitness tracking wearable market. Attached is the progressions of our business model canvas.
