This past semester has brought many new challenges for me both mentally and physically as I have experienced more stress and pressure than I’ve ever had to deal with in my life before. This amount of stress was starting to take a toll on me in extreme ways both physically and mentally. The best way that I have found to deal with that stress is through yoga. Though I only attend it twice a week I have found that the improvements to my overall health are innumerable. Often it is easy to get swept up in the fast paced world of college and forget to care of ones self and I have found that yoga reminds me to take the time to do that. Taking two hours each week for myself has improved my social and academic interactions, making it a very important part of my routine lately that I am determined to continue.
