Volunteers Around the World

Volunteer Around the World is an organization that I’ve joined this year that has become extremely meaningful to me. With this organization I will be traveling to the Dominican Republic in the month of May. I chose this artifact because I think the idea of helping people while still being about to travel says a lot about me and my goals in life. I hope to one day work for an organization like this one and help to facilitate sustainable change through medicine and education all around the world. This organization has helped to shape my career goals and life path  in a big way as it has influenced my major choice and my summer plans. through this organization I have been put in touch with several teacher and faculty advisors who have positively effected my life and have helped to put me on a new track towards reaching my goals.
