Hello,
My name is Jason Shuman and I’m originally from Guatemala City, Guatemala. When I was adopted, with my twin brother, I was brought to my hometown of Chillicothe, OH were I attended and graduated from Unioto High School.
Currently, I am a student of The Ohio State University with an intended major of biomedical engineering. Here at Ohio State my academic interests include all of my classes that will help better my future in the field of biomedical engineering. Another program I am a part of is the scholar’s program, and the program I am a part of is the Politics, Society and Law scholar’s group. I am also a part of the Ohio State Athletic band, as I play the bass drum.
Some of the goals I have for myself academically include having good grades, being able to retain all of the knowledge that I learn, as well as getting out and exploring research & co-op opportunities. Other goals I have include getting out my comfort zones in my everyday life by searching for new experiences within the programs I am involved with by being open to new ideas. I also have another goal of being a part of TBDBITL.
Some of my personal interests include playing and watching baseball, music, and bowling.
