Located in the countryside northwest of Cuzco, Peru, lies the vast site of Machu Picchu. Being located in the the highlands of Peru, Machu Pichhu is a long for day hike, or modest four hour train ride up a mountain. Because of its' boasting beauty and thrilling views, Machu Piccu is a well known tourist attraction and was named a seventh wonder of the world in 2007.
