My name is Brooke Shields and I am from Clarksburg, Maryland, about 45 minutes north of Washington D.C. I am a younger sister to my sister Brielle and Brother Bryson. I am also an aunt to my four year old nephew, Chase. In high school, I won five county titles, 3 regional titles, and 3 state titles. I also became all American in Cheerleading and in track and field. I came to The Ohio State University because I have always fell in love with the big campus and many resources they have to offer. I enjoy big schools with lots of school spirit as well. I knew I wanted to go out of state for college, and I’m glad I picked Ohio State. I would like to graduate with a Bachelors in Health Science, and go to graduate school to become a PA. I would like to move back to Maryland/DC to work and live because I love the DMV area so much.
While in high school, I have developed a lot of independence and self awareness. I have discovered what I want to be all on my own, and I have applied and pushed myself without the help of others. I know I am getting more and more independent as I am away from home as well. I have always been a student athlete as well. I started sports before I started school, so I always knew how to balance my work and school work. I am an athletes here at The Ohio State, and I love it! I worked so hard to get to this point, and have always wanted to be a cheerleader here, so I am very proud of myself for pushing and making it. I learned a lot over the years through adversity, trials, and triumphs, but I am excited to make more here in Ohio, and to enjoy the next four years.
