My G.O.A.L.S.

  • I plan on minoring in Human Rights while being here at The Ohio State. I will develop more appreciation on other cultures and their rights. I will be more appreciative on other cultures that I never knew much about or look into consideration for being an activist for. I think it will help my global awareness for more and more groups of people, and then I can share what I learned with friends and family back home and who ever I end up working with.
  • I would like to be apart of a professors research in sports medicine or kinesiology. I would like to better understand how the body moves and works, especially in athletes. Since I’m an athlete, it interest me more to be involved in research that can relate to me as well.
  • I am a part of the varsity cheerleading team at Ohio State. Being a part of a team helps me learn leadership, discipline, and stay engaged in something. I would like to continue this passion when I grow up and share it with younger athletes and teacher/train them to be the best so they get to go on to the next level. I would like to enrich my academics in the medical field and continue to spread what I learn to help people in my community.
  • Being on a sports team my whole life, I have learned what it takes to be a leader, and what a good leader looks like. I have seen many good coaches and leaders, and no so many good ones. So I understand what it takes and what makes an inspiring leader. I will develop these skills and strengthen them over the years by remaining on a team, and applying myself to other clubs/organizations.
  • In my community, I plan on focusing to serve and help the youth. I want the youth to be stronger and have confidence in themselves and be about to feel good about their future. If they don’t have meals or shelter or can’t go to school, then it will be hard for them to have confidence and to find a purpose in their lives.
