Final BMC

As a person that fully enjoys and appreciates fantasy sports and betting on the outcomes of such events, I felt the need to create an avenue for those not interested in sports to have content to bet on. As a group we felt women lacked a way to bet on events that they truly cared about. With that being said we created Double Up, a new betting service where you would bet on daily events such as who will win a certain Grammy or what celebrity will where the most expensive dress at an event. Through customer research we learned that women are very interested in this type of betting and men are also interested in the non-sports field of betting. Now that we have proved our idea, it is time to get down to business are build the tech infrastructure needed to get the idea of the ground!

About Me

akaash and kevI’m Keval Sheth of Loveland, Ohio. And yes, you read that right: I come from the land of love and it truly is the sweetheart of Ohio. The small town atmosphere and tight knit community allowed me to prosper as an individual. I became involved with everything from leadership organizations and honors societies to sports teams and IT clubs. From designing and implementing a district tutoring program to playing basketball with teammates that are essentially family; I learned to lead, listen, and take responsibility for my errors. Now that I am a member of the large and vibrant Ohio State family, my ambitions have grown and I hope to work for or create my own startup. I joined ICE scholars because I believe it gives me the best chance at becoming a successful entrepreneur and achieving my aforementioned goal.
