OSU Alumna Jessica Davenport Goes Pro

1:02PM — November 7, 2019

Columbus native Jessica Davenport played for the women’s basketball team during her time at Ohio State. As the team’s center, she led them to three straight Big Ten championship titles.

Davenport graduated in 2007 with her degree in family resource management/consumer affairs. She was inducted into the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame in 2018. She is a three-time recipient of Big Ten Conference Player of the Year during her time at our university.

Davenport started her professional basketball career with the WNBA team New York Liberty. Nowadays we can see her in action as #50 on the Indiana Fever. After her basketball career, she hopes to utilize her degree from OSU and pursue marketing.

This post is the first in a series honoring renowned OSU alumnae.
