Maternity Nurse and Business Manager in Medical Office

The first recommended job is maternity nurse, to take care of pregnant women, puerperal women, and newborn babies. This job requires knowledge in medical field and nursing skills in the fields of obstetrics or gynecology. And the passage of the National Council Licensure Examination-Registered Nurse. It is not bad for me because it related to medical field that I am interested in. But in details, maternity nurse is not a very suitable job for me. Since it requires nursing skills in maternity field, so people who want to be such workers must receive corresponding education program in colleges.

But I will not attend such nursing program. This job related to medical field and workers need to work at hospitals, so it is close to my intended job. I
pursue a job working at a hospital as well. For another choice, I want to do so some researches about biology and medicine which are a little bit different from these two jobs. I am pleased with the national median salary of this job, around $61,000. As long as people work longer and gain more experience, it is possible to make a better salary. Actually, higher education can help people get higher salary because of more knowledge in

The second job, business manager in medical office, to arrange medical affairs, workers, and deal with patients’ problems. This job requires the ability of management and arranging tremendous affairs and appointments. The workers might act like liaisons between medical office and organization’s officer or work with patients related to payments or medical procedures. Business manager in medical office requires more oral and written communication skills which are different from the system learning for the first job. The requirements of business manager in medical office are not very restricted at education field in college. I am less pleased with the national median salary of this job, around $48,000, but still pleased. Longer work experience and higher education will cause higher salary as well.

From my perspective, the satisfaction of a job is more important than the salary. If we feel bored and unhappy with a job we are doing, we are not able to do it good. Then we might make mistakes constantly. Those mistakes will result in serious consequences especially in the two jobs above. These jobs are close to people’s lives, so one small mistake might cause a tragedy. Only if people work with satisfaction, they are pleasure to achieve better on their own works. However, even though high salary cannot develop the satisfaction of people to that job.
