When working in the school setting, having a clear plan for the school year helps the school nurse to organize time and effectively manage school health services. Creating a guideline or calendar for the school year will help to meet the school district’s needs, professional standards, and guide professional school nursing practice. To help organize my school setting, I developed a spread sheet of school health services that will be met throughout the year.
