Music: Music is a large part of my life. I started playing the clarinet when I was eleven years old and played all throughout high school. Being involved in band helped me develop a passion for music. I can never listen to music the same anymore as I analyze the pitches, tempos, key changes, chords, and a multitude of other factors that go into making a song. Music is my go to for any kind of mood, happy, sad, anything. I can always delve into my music and come out feeling much better about a situation. Music is just something that lets me express me.

Ohio: I am the youngest of three girls and the first one to go to college out of state. Being out of state has opened my eyes to new things and also created some challenges along the way. Coming to college knowing absolutely no one was pretty scary at first but has forced me to jump outside of my comfort zone. Being the youngest, I am the baby of the family and even if my family won’t admit it, they are pretty protective over me. Choosing The Ohio State University has helped me grow as an individual and build stronger relationships with the most important people in my life.
