My Background

Hello! My name is Stavan Shah! I am currently a Freshmen from Warren, OH. I am absolutely ecstatic to begin my higher education at THE Ohio State University! I am currently pursuing a Biomedical Engineering Major in the College of Engineering with a Pre-Medicine Co-Major. I love running, the outdoors, and traveling! I achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 2016 with BSA Troop 101. I also love to volunteer! I when I am home, I volunteer at St. Joseph Warren Hospital in the Surgery Center.  I have previously held significant leadership positions within my National Honor Society, Boy Scout Troop, amongst other organizations. My other passions include following football, keeping up with the stock markets, golf, and following politics. I explored my passion for politics in High School through my nomination and participation in Buckeye Boys State and Trumbull County Civics Day. I intend to get involved and further my leadership skills here at The Ohio State University! As of right now, I have joined the Biomedical Innovations Club, Humanitarian Engineering Scholars Program, and Biomedical Engineers Society! I am aiming too gain both skills with problem solving (such as through the engineering education) and further my passion for bringing happiness to others through service!  As Mahatma Gandhi always said, “The best way to find yourself is by losing yourself in the service of others.”
