The Honors and Scholars Programming Board (HSPB) is the executive board of the Honors and Scholars Program. Our main purpose is to plan, set up, and carry out all of the Honors and Scholars events. The selection process includes a lengthy application and a rigorous interview process. Some of the events that I have been the head of include the annual Fall Fest, A’s for Days: How to Tackle Finals Week, and the Honors and Scholars Grill and Chill. Not only am I on the events planning committee, I also am the official photographer for all Honors and Scholars events- including the events that are exclusive to specific scholars programs. This leadership position has allowed me to make numerous meaningful connections, expand my photography skills, learn how to organize large scale campus events, learn how to plan a budget, learn how to formally contact professionals, and learn how to advertise events across a this massive campus.
