Community partnerships provide the foundation on which service is provided. The Office of Service-Learning is committed to the creation of partnerships between Ohio State and the community that benefit community residents and build capacity of community agencies and schools to achieve their mission.
Community Partner Advisory Committee
To further the creation of service-learning programming that is relevant to the community, the Office of Service-Learning works with a Community Partner Advisory Committee. This advisory group has worked with us to create the STEP service-learning and community service opportunities and will be collaborating with us on several projects in the near future. If you’d like to learn more about the Advisory Committee and how you can get involved, please contact us!
Working with Volunteers
The Pay It Forward database assists with the recruitment of Ohio State volunteers. The database allows you to:
- Identify volunteer needs and projects
- Track student volunteer sign-up and hours
- Recruit students for further volunteer opportunities
