SENR Education Abroad Advisor

Amanda serves as the Education Abroad Advisor for SENR.  She is a point of contact for students interested in participating in ENR education abroad programs.  Amanda hosts information sessions for ENR programs and meets with students on a one-on-one basis to discuss the SENR portfolio of programs.  She also develops SENR Education Abroad recruitment activities and assists resident directors prepare academic content for SENR education abroad programs.

Kelly Newlon

CFAES Director of Education Abroad & OIA Education Abroad Specialist

Kelly is the Director of Education Abroad for the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.  She also coordinates SENR education abroad programs through the Office of International Affairs.  Kelly ensures that students, faculty, and staff are prepared to travel on their education abroad programs.  In addition to her commitment to SENR education abroad programs, Kelly is an excellent resource for OIA procedures and policies.

Chas Parise

Chas Parise

SENR Education Abroad Student Assistant

Chas is third year Forestry, Fisheries, and Wildlife major specializing in Forestry and Wildlife.  In his role as the SENR Education Abroad Student Assistant, Chas visits classrooms to discuss SENR programs.  He also assists with information sessions, orientations, and other events.

Chas has participated in three education abroad programs at Ohio State University:
Nicaragua: CFAES First Year Experience
Antarctica: Human Impact on a Fragile Environment
Australia: Sustaining Human Societies & the Environment

In addition to Chas’ outreach responsibilities, he also hosts open office hours for students who want to learn more about ENR education abroad opportunities.

Tuesdays 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. in 385 Kottman Hall
