The School of Environment and Natural Resources offers unparalleled experiential learning opportunities and a variety of locations around the world. SENR education abroad programs provide students with the opportunity to earn academic credit in a new environment through hands-on learning experiences with OSU instructors and local experts. The School of Environment and Natural Resources provides five education abroad experiences in Australia, Dominican Republic, Iceland, New Zealand, and Tanzania.
In addition to earning academic credit, education abroad offers the opportunity to learn about cultures, histories, and environments different than your own. Stepping outside of one’s comfort zone through education abroad can facilitate personal growth, influence career pursuits, and enhance intercultural understanding.
