Year in Review

[ “Year in Review”  is where you should reflect on the past year and show how you have evolved as a person and as a student.  You may want to focus on your growth in a particular area (as a leader, scholar, researcher, etc.) or you may want to talk about your overall experience over the past year.  For more guidance on using your ePortfolio, including questions and prompts that will help you get started, please visit the Honors & Scholars ePortfolio course in Carmen. G.O.A.L.S.

G: To me, this means acknowledging that there are places and a world that extends beyond OSU’s campus and even Columbus. One way I will achieve this is by taking classes that help me learn more about the world and the bigger picture. Additionally, I will do a study abroad to get first-hand experience in different cultures and environments.

O: To me, this means undergoing some sort of research process where I am able to develop my own ideas and see them undergo with research.  I will achieve this by conducting research in the psychology department.

A: To me, this means pushing my limits with rigorous classes. I will achieve this by remaining in the honors program and taking honors level classes.

L: To me, this means developing leadership skills and putting them into practice. I will achieve this by holding leadership positions in the various clubs I am participating in as well as potentially holding leadership positions in a sorority.

S: To me, this means giving back to the community in terms of community service. I will achieve this by continuing to volunteer at the Wexner Medical Center where I am able to help patients at the hospital.
