Background
Dr. Mohamed I. Elsaid is an epidemiologist and biostatistician with extensive training and experience in population medicine research and causal inference methods. Dr. Elsaid have designed and conducted several population-based observational studies on comparative treatment effectiveness, racial health disparities, health economics, and outcomes research. He has extensive experience using big data and developing comprehensive statistical analyses for data manipulation, management, and analysis. Dr. Elsaid’s research seeks to identify modifiable determinants of chronic liver disease morbidity and mortality to advance our understanding of disease causes and develop prevention and early detection strategies to mitigate the public health and economic burdens of disease.
