Ben plans initiatives, programs, and projects for the Office of Distance Education and eLearning’s College Ready Ohio grant, a Straight A Fund awarded grant consortium led by The Ohio State University. Ben is fascinated by and committed to the power of education to broaden humans’ worlds and senses of possibility. Prior to joining ODEE, Ben worked as a learning specialist with Buckeye student-athletes and taught life-skills and career development courses through the Student Athlete Support Services Office. A veteran educator of Chicago Public Schools, Ben has earned master’s degrees in educational philosophy and psychology, as well as business administration – both from The Ohio State University.
