Hello and welcome to our class’s collaborative blog! This semester, we will be critically engaging with texts that explore “interactions between “Western” and “Non-Western” cultures, thinking about colonization and immigration as key sites of “crossing cultures”” (Au2020 course syllabus). Here, you can find posts that respond to the contexts and topics we engage with during our course. Under the “context presentations” page, students from my section of CS 1100 will blog about a research topic related to each week’s readings. We will also post about different topics that arise during our semester together, in separate pages of the blog.
