Quent Hartt – Dale Gnidovec

Every time I think we have seen the best presentation, the next presenter blows it away. I don’t think I have ever met a man who enjoys his job more than Dale Gnidovec. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic during the entire presentation. It was very educational to see pictures of the museums that we will be going to with some back story on a lot of the displays. I did not know much about the history of paleontology and it was very informational to see Dale walk through step by step different monumental discoveries in the field. It was also interesting to learn that James Parkinson was one of the first couple paleontologists, even though he is much well known for his disease. It was also VERY neat to hold the different fossils that were passed around to see and learn about the differences in the two set of teeth. I look forward to seeing some of the things that were present in the slide deck.
