Hi, my name is Sammy Schwartz, I am from Cincinnati, Ohio, and my intended major is Biological Engineering. While in college, I hope to achieve my goals of doing well with rewarding activities and classes as well as continue to grow my independence. I am in college for the experience of learning, meeting new people, trying new things, and being successful in getting a stable and fulfilling job. High school developed my academic interests in math, engineering, and business, and I intend to pursue these subjects in college through my courses and extracurricular activities. Currently, my passions and interests do not extend to a particular field of research or academic area within FABE (Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering), however, I have an open mind and am willing to try and learn about anything within and outside of my intended major. As an Eagle Scout, community service and leadership opportunities are important to me. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy cooking and playing and watching sports including baseball, football, and tennis.
