All About Siena

Siena is currently a freshman at the Ohio State University. She is enrolled in the University Exploration program within the College of Arts and Sciences. Though she does not know exactly what she wants to do in the future, Siena knows her career will revolve around helping to improve the lives of others and politics – which seems pretty contradictory. She decided to become a member of the Politics, Society, and Law scholar group in order to be further exposed to the wild world of American politics and to find her place in the ever-growing bureaucracy. Outside of the academics, Siena hopes to be an active student and hopes to lead several student organizations and maybe even start her own. Siena is originally from Lemont, Illinois, which is about thirty miles south of Chicago. Some of her proudest accomplishments thus far include interning for Illinois State Senator Jim Oberweis, being accepted into Ohio State, and fundraising over four thousand dollars for local charities during high school. In whatever free time she has, Siena enjoys being outdoors, whether she is biking or running, listening to alternative music, baking, and watching her favorite television show, “Park and Recreation”.
