Course Registration Information

**Upon admission, please review the list of classes below and email con-advising@osu.edu to add classes to your plan of study. Please note that you may alter your plan at a later date.


The program of study includes 3 credits from the following required core course:

NA3117 RN Practice in Primary Care (it is recommended that this course be taken first)

Students will also take three courses from the list below (8-9 credits):

NA 3110 Health Assessment across the Lifespan (3 credits)

NA 3111 Palliative and End of Life Care (3 credits)

NA 3113 RN Practice in Primary Care and Substance Use Disorder (3 credits)

NA 3114 Care Coordination and Transition in Care (3 credits)

NA 3115 Telehealth Assessment and Management in Primary Care (3 credits)

NA 3116 Evidence-Based Health Coaching in Interprofessional Practice (3 credits)

NA 3430 Cultural Competence in Health Care: US and Global Contexts (2 credits)

NA 4600 Interprofessional Concepts (2 credits)

NA 4780 Evidence Based Nursing: Transforming Clinical Practice (3 credits)


Your Academic Advisor will enroll you in your first semester course(s) once you confirm with them via email you have completed your financial responsibility statement. Please follow the registration instructions below for subsequent semesters:

Enrollment Instructions:

  1. Open a browser window.
  2. Navigate your web browser to buckeyelink.osu.edu.
  3. Log in using your name.# and password (the same that you use to log in for your OSU e-mail account). If you have not activated your account or have forgotten your password please contact IT Help and Support at (614) 688-HELP.
  4. View your Student Center for holds, to do list items, and enrollment information. Once you have scheduled courses, this is where your scheduled classes will display.
  5. You must complete the Financial Responsibility Statement before enrolling in courses.
  6. Under Enrollment, click Add a Class.
  7. Select the correct term you want to enroll in  and click CONTINUE.
  8. Search by course subject and course number OR by class number if available.
  9. On the Select Classes to ADD page, click the SEARCH Input the appropriate course subject and course number information and click SEARCH again to find open sections of the courses you’ve been approved to enroll in.
  10. When you find a section that fits your schedule click on the SELECT CLASS button for that section. Follow the pages (either adding other course components for that course or simply confirming your choice by selecting the NEXT button) until that course appears in your shopping cart.
  11. Repeat steps 8, 9 and 10 until all of your approved courses have been added to your shopping cart. **A word of caution: the shopping cart feature will allow you to put a class in your cart even if you don’t meet the prerequisites or if the class is full or if it creates a time conflict with another course in your schedule. However, the registration system should catch these errors before you finish enrolling.
  12. Click the PROCEED TO STEP 2 OF 3 button to confirm the courses in your shopping cart.
  13. Click FINISH ENROLLING. If your enrollment is a success, you will see that message and a green next to each course successfully added to your schedule. If there is an error, you will see the reason for the error and a red
  14. To view your class schedule in a weekly-view format, click either the MY CLASS SCHEDULE button under the results box or the tab at the top of the page and then select the WEEKLY VIEW. This view is only available after you’ve finished enrolling (i.e. it is not available from the shopping cart).
