End of the Year Reflection

So with my second year winding down I decided that it is a good time to reflect on this past year and talk about how it shaped me as a person. This past year was definitely tough. Between taking organic chemistry, joining a research lab, and taking 20 credits this past semester I have definitely have had to work hard this past year. However, this past year has been very rewarding. I had the opportunity to make new friends and connections, experience research as I have never experienced it before, and I learned a ton about what kind of person I am. These challenges shaped me into a person who runs towards a challenge and works hard until it is complete. I hope to take these lessons from this past year and use them to help me in the future.

End of Semester Reflection

My first semester at The Ohio State University has been an eventful one. I have met many new people both within the Biological Sciences Scholars Program and outside of it and I have developed close ties with these people. I have learned a lot both inside and outside of the classroom. This includes learning a lot about how I learn best and how to harness this knowledge in order to better prepare for my classes. I have also learned how to live independently using the resources available to me at this university. All in all I would say that my first semester at The Ohio State University has been a success.
