Description:

        Contains resources for teachers and students. Resources include:             lesson plans, printables, articles, educational viedos, interactive whiteboard lessons, book wizards, interavtive e-books, and a classroom webpage builder.

 

Educational Uses:

  • Show videos and complete the activities as a class using the                                  interactive whiteboard

  • Students can view videos and do the activities in a center

  • Use the accompanying lesson plans and resources to aid in                                    planning lessons

Content Standards and Assessments:

         Scholastic has a whole page dedicated to the Common Core. At their Common Core page you have the ability to search books, and lesson plaWns. Scholastic lesson plans will tell you the Common Core Standard covered by the lesson whether it’s language arts, reading, writing, math, or science. With each lesson plan Scholastic also suggests not only activities to enhance or differentiate instruction, but they also suggest assessments.
