College students’ time management: A self-regulated learning perspective

Dr. Wolters is a Professor of Educational Psychology in the College of Education and Human Ecology as well as Director of the Dennis Learning Center at Ohio State. The topic of his talk will be time management and its influence on college students’ academic engagement and success. He will discuss self-regulated learning as a theoretical framework for understanding time management. As well, he will present findings from an empirical study examining motivational predictors of students’ use of time management strategies, and their ability to explain students’ procrastination, intentional delay and classroom disengagement.

The colloquium will be held in Psychology Building 035.
