Dr. Greta Volpedo passed her candidacy exam and is officially a doctor! Her paper “Centrin-deficient Leishmania mexicana confers protection against New World cutaneous leishmaniasis” was also just published in the journal npj vaccines. All of us in the Satoskar lab are so proud and can’t wait to see what the future holds for her.
