Year in Review

G.O.A.L.S.
One global awareness goal I have is to study abroad. I would love to be able to spend a semester overseas to learn about the culture and diversity. I love traveling and seeing the styles, foods, and architecture of different places. I would also love to join a club that talks about the culture of different places around the world.
One original inquiry goal I have is to be a research assistant for a business/law firm. I feel like interning at a firm and doing research or interning at a business is a good learning experience.
One goal I have is to take challenging classes and classes to broaden my knowledge. I plan to minor in Arabic and I took Arabic Literature to become more familiar with the language and cultures. Also, another goal I have is to double major.
One goal I have for leadership development is to join a club and become a big role in it. Another goal is to become a strong enough speaker to be able to impress future interviewers.
The last goal I have for service engagement is to volunteer in hospitals or around Columbus. I did a lot of volunteer work in high school and I hope to continue that throughout college.

My PSL mentor is named Ananya Potlapalli. She is from Westerville, Ohio which is about twenty minutes from campus. She is a second-year and is majoring in business on the Pre-Law track. Ananya is also involved in many school organizations. She is apart of the Undergraduate Women’s Business Association, Indian Student Association, and Buckeyes Assemble. In her free time, she loves reading, baking, cooking, dancing, and being politically involved in the community. She also enjoys watching historical dramas, marvel movies, thriller movies, and John Mulaney.
About Me
Hello! My name is Sarah Saliba and I am currently a freshman at The Ohio State University. My intended major is Finance, and I am hoping to minor in Arabic. Some goals I have in the four years I am here is to get high grades and an impressive GPA. I also want to become more familiar with areas and topics I did not know about. Finally, I want to join a lot of clubs and make multiple connections and friends.
After I get my degree, I am planning on attending law school. In the future, I plan to live out of state and join a law firm. I am very interested in the business side of things, but I am also very interested in the environment. I love going hiking and camping and spent most of my childhood fishing. I also enjoy snowboarding in the winter and skateboarding in the summer.
