My first year of college has taken its time. With many social and political issues + the dreaded coronavirus lurking at every corner, the level of burnout has been unimaginable. However, this summer is a time to not only reflect on the past year, but also set myself up for success in the coming year. There is much to be said in terms of friendships, academics, extracurriculars, and just life in general. Many say you live life once (#yolo), but no. Rather, you die once and you live many days. Each day is only worth what you make out of it. You have just under 60,000 seconds within a day. How time can you alot for others? How much of that time can you allocate for needs of yourself? Your goals? Your future? Your present?

About Me
You had to get to know me didn’t you? Who am I? Where do I come from? How did get from one place to another? What do I do?
All of these are great questions, but let’s take a step back and talk about the simple things. My name is Prasanjit Sahoo [nice to meet you, too!]. I currently go to the Ohio State University for a Bachelors in Neuroscience. I currently plan on pursuing a MD/PhD for Neuroscience. I love to talk about the brain, knowledge/philosophy, space, mathematics, and everything in between. Why do I love science so much? Simply because it is all interconnected. I can find answers to a solutions in different fields. It is like a web of ideas that revolutionized the world. My goal is to be the best one can be in the field that I choose. Why? Because you must always reach for the stars! What if I don’t make it? Well then, I’ll have landed on the moon, which would be farther than many. Yes, I guess I’m a tad bit ambitious, but I do hope to inspire a lot for a bunch of positive within the world. I also teach science to middle schoolers and have started getting into digital artwork (primarily logo making)! I look forward to gaining more skills and honing my strengths. Right now, college is just a stepping stone for my dream.
