New Ohio State grant program takes aim at opioid crisis

In the face of an unrelenting drug epidemic that is devastating Ohio and the nation, Ohio State has established the Opioid Innovation Fund, a grant program designed to leverage the university’s expertise and resources to hasten solutions to the crisis. More than $1 million is available and will be distributed in grants of up to $100,000. Teams are encouraged to include partners in the public and private sectors, but each team must be led by an Ohio State faculty or staff member to be eligible for the grants. The deadline to submit pre-proposals is Friday (11/3) at 5 p.m.
