About Me

Alexis Rothenbuhler is a first-year undergraduate student in the Arts Scholars Program at The Ohio State University planning to major in Neuroscience with a minor in Theatre in pursuit of medical school. Alexis plans on joining many clubs through the university including: Vegetarian and Vegan Society, an accapella group, and potentially a theatre group. Outside of class, Alexis loves to perform both vocally and theatrically and thoroughly enjoys volunteering her time with the Ohio Special Olympics. In the past, Alexis was involved with National Honors Society, Radiate Youth Group, Findlay First Edition Showchoir, Honors Career Mentorship, six different theatrical productions, Junior Scholars, and Latin Club. Each of these activities were time consuming, yet intellectually and emotionally fulfilling and taught Alexis many valuable lessons such as time management, leadership, proper communication, confidence, and commitment. Alexis plans to find many similar, but more engaging and stimulating groups here at OSU to fill her time and teach her many more valuable lessons. She hopes the scholars program is able to connect her to the community around her while also helping her to become a strong, open-minded individual.
