Hi everyone!!
so for my inspirational quote, I have one that always stood out to me from Georgia O’Keefe.
“I’ve been absolutely terrified every moment of my life—and I’ve never let it keep me from doing a single thing I wanted to do.”

So nice to see the range of subjects that catch your eye. The material “study” with turmeric is surprising in the mix – adding texture and a different kind of “reality” to the suite of works. Have you ever looked at the amazing card-portraits of Whitfield Lovell? Maybe art, drawing, rendering, observation are all a method of preservation? Nice to see how the word flower led you to preservation, like other subjects might as well – anything actually – but some things drawn are different when they are drawn: from ordinary to extraordinary; transformed, revealed, preserved. How can your subject choice enhance this concept of preservation, curiosity, etc?
