About Me

Hi,  my name is Gaby Romaker and I am a freshman at The Ohio State University.  Coming from a quaint town in Midwestern Ohio to the astounding metropolitan area of central Ohio was a huge adjustment, but a decision I am glad I made.  In my hometown Spencerville, Ohio, there are far less opportunities available to me than the Columbus vicinity offered, a prospect that appealed to my hopes of becoming a future medical professional.  With all that this university is offering me, I hope to use my undergraduate degree in Biology and a hopeful minor in Spanish to then go to medical school and become a Developmental Pediatrician.  My desire to take on medical school came from my various volunteer experiences, and I believe the pediatric field is the pathway for me.  My goal is to one day make a difference with all the individuals I assisted–mostly disabled children–and prove to them that with a passion and the right university, dreams can come true.
