The Biological Sciences Scholars program has given me the opportunity to volunteer for a multitude of different organizations. I assisted with the Hot Chocolate Run two years in a row, provided dinner for the children at the Huckleberry House, and interacted with the residents at Wesley Glen Retirement Community. I am currently a volunteer for DASH animal rescue in which I help care for animals who are looking for a home. I have also applied for 4 Paws for Ability in which I will be able to train service dogs.
